Afakasi Prints is owned and operated by artist Amanda Stowers, who’s Pasifika designs are inspired by her Polynesian background, with the hopes of spreading a deeper understanding of her culture in the United States. Completely self taught, all of her designs are handmade in San Francisco, CA. Representation of her people and her culture is what drives her, as she expands her work beyond printmaking to include hand painted murals, cultural workshops and hand-carved and handmade unique pottery pieces.
