ABOUT THE 2019-20 SPIO SCHOLARSHIPS
We are awarding three $5,000 USD scholarships to Pacific Islander scholars living anywhere in the world who show exemplary community leadership, academic excellence, or extracurricular excellence.
Academic Scholarship: $5,000
The SPIO Academic Scholarship will award one (1) student $5,000 for their academic excellence.
Eligibility
Pacific Islander descent (focus on Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian descent)
Plans to attend an accredited institution of higher education in 2020
Minimum 3.0 GPA equivalent
Extra-Curricular Scholarship: $5,000
The SPIO Extra-curricular Scholarship will award one (1) student $5,000 for their extracurricular excellence.
